1. Service Description

GenomeHack is a web-based platform that allows you to upload raw DNA data from consumer genetic testing services (such as 23andMe and AncestryDNA) and receive personalized wellness reports based on specific genetic variants (SNPs). Our reports cover topics including nutrition, fitness, supplements, and traits.

2. Not Medical Advice

GenomeHack does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our reports are for educational and informational purposes only. The information provided should not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your diet, exercise, or supplement regimen based on genetic information.

3. User Accounts

By creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload DNA data belonging to another person without their explicit consent.
• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the platform.
• Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit our reports without written permission.

5. Genetic Data Disclaimer

Genetic science is an evolving field. Our reports reflect current published research and may be updated as new findings emerge. SNP interpretations are based on population-level studies and may not apply to every individual. Results should be considered as one of many factors in understanding your health.

6. Payment Terms

Free reports (DNA Snapshot) are available at no cost. Premium reports (Hack Packs) require a one-time payment. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

• Prices are displayed in USD and include applicable taxes.
• Payment is required before premium report generation.
• You will receive an email receipt for every purchase.

7. Refund Policy

Because reports are generated instantly upon payment, we generally do not offer refunds for completed reports. However, if you experience a technical issue that prevents report delivery, contact us at support@genomehack.io and we will work to resolve the issue or provide a refund at our discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on GenomeHack -- including text, graphics, logos, report templates, and software -- is owned by GenomeHack or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission. Your generated reports are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GenomeHack and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific report giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
